Category Archives: Sewing OUR HOUSE IS SOLD! we still can’t believe it’s actually happening! all that hard work – losing the whole summer to the renos – dealing with contractors who didn’t show up – has finally paid off. now, i’m planning a trip to the island for us to exhale! i’m so excited! tofino, beach lodge hotel...  this is sarah’s princess drawing on linen/cotton. the door-like thing is not a fridge, it is an "extended" big door for the castle. her initial door was too small so after she added more lines, it started to look like a fridge. there’s more to this drawing but i’ll post more pictures up once it’s...  my new aviary fabric is so pretty that i didn’t want to cut into it. finally, last night, i made a top for sarah. again, i took her favorite tied-tank top and copied it. i didn’t add anything to it because the print is so cute! last week, i did make her a linen/cotton dress...  how could i resist? i had to make hats for my girls and i added a cute fabric button on the peak…. originally, this was for hannah but it is one size too big. i guess sarah has a small head! fits her perfectly…. okay, next is a smaller one for hannah and a larger...  my girlfriend and i went window shopping on west 4th yesterday and tried on a couple of caps and hats… i just ordered a book of caps and hats ISBN978-4-8347-2566-7 from japan and i thought i put one together (since i’m now a pro at making bonnets for babies….) so last night, i studied the... |
